The reading desks and the lighting were designed to suit the image of the building by Kazuko Fujie, a furniture designer. The shape of the lights are based on the round windows on the outer walls. The basic color of the building interior is white and it is incredibly serene and beautiful. The desks and chairs on the second floor are for reading and those on the third floor are for the people who would like to study using their own books and reference materials.
