14Lighting on the Second and the Third Floors

If you look up at the ceiling, you find no ceiling light in the library. Soft light comes in from the round windows during the day so that the library doesn’t need a ceiling light apart from the desk top lighting and the bookshelf lighting. The spotlight located at the top of the central elevator hall lights up on cloudy days or in the evenings. The light is projected on the white walls and the reflected light is bright enough to keep whole building well lit. This building is environment friendly and only needs a minimum amount of electric lighting.
